Not sure. Notre Dame has had contact with both, but neither have been offered.

247 has updated their board on Tucky and has UK, ND and OSU as his "warms".

UK is his only offer of the 3 but I find it interesting that ND is a warm at the top of the list with Coach Elston as his recruiter. Loy and Wiltfong haven't said anything recently have they? 247 wouldn't change that unless they knew something... right?

No mention of him that I've seen recently. My take is that with a small class at LB (2, 3 at most) we are taking things pretty slow.

That's what I thought Lucky. Don't you think that that is an odd move by 247 especially with Wiltfong and Loy so connected to ND and the midwest in general? Am I totally off base here?

I hear ya but that temperature gauge that they have I've always found to be not very accurate anyways. I think that probably just means that ND/OSU are his favorites if either were to offer.

And I hear ya back... just haven't seen anyone updated like that before, throw in Loy and Wiltfong being so close... maybe 2+2 doesn't equal 4 in this case.

No, ND isn't actively recruiting Tucky. Probably keeping tabs on him, but as of now they are after some bigger targets with a smaller LB class in 2016.

Haha, right. Crazy to think about. Fox was at least a contributor but man that was an F'd up eval.

In general, we're being really picky at a few positions and LB is one. Its a luxury that we have since we've recruited well there recently (last year) but it could also turn out to look silly if guys like Tucky and Burks end up being studs. With that said, NSD is a long ways out and the staff is going after guys they like better.

Don't hate. He's a good kid from a great family. If he had an offer he would most likely be Irish. Can't fault him if he doesn't get one. My cousin comes from a family where both parents went to ND, her two older sisters both went to ND, but she didn't get in. She was crushed and ended up going to BC instead. It sucked, but she's happy in her decision among the schools that did accept her.

Whatever, I spoke with his Dad. If everyone offered, it would be an ND v. Michigan only affair. Family is pure Region Irish fans. He may have a contrary streak to him to like the Wolverines growing up but EVERY pic of the fam is covered in ND.

I simply don't think Notre Dame is focused on these two at this point and its obvious with neither getting visits this spring.

Could Notre Dame miss out? Sure, but there would be about 30 other note worthy programs missing out too. Notre Dame takes 2 LB's at the max and they can be patient with the process.

I would think so, but I don't know how he feels about BC now that he's committed either, haven't heard anything through the grapevine so to speak for a bit. Everything I heard prior to BC was that he would be down with ND or tOSU if either offered. If both came knocking, probably a slight ND lean.

I don't know how good this kid will ultimately end up being, but I feel pretty confident in saying he's the next BC player to hate Notre Dame for not offering and he'll have the games of his life whenever he plays the Irish.

I don't think he'll end up hating ND, but I don't recall Luke Kuechly's story either other than he wanted to come and didn't get an offer. While growing up his family has followed both teams and I'm sure he's not going to start hating one of them or both because he didn't get an offer.

In terms of a player that is going to BC and wanted to go to ND? Yes....In terms of player comparison? Nope.
