He's overwhelmed out there.

He should be. Run, Run, Pass against a zone blitz is a bad recipe. They need to let him run the Taysom Hill playbook but they probably are worried he’ll get hurt so letting Miami pin their ears back on third down is apparently better

O line is terrible. Not sure why Payton is just running the ball up the middle. Why not try to get Kamara in the open field.

Can't imagine the Staff would let him run, the Saints can't seem to get a running game going and the passing game is likely going to kill him... literally and figuratively.

They were moving it fine changing it up on first down and then decided to run straight once they got into the Red Zone.

Exactly. It was nice to see Book settle into some of those throws. Looked decent.

Everytime they do these reviews, it’s like they think the audience is blind. That was a drop.

He’s getting a crash course in the NFL. He’s confirmed he’s not the running QB he could be in college & he can’t keep telegraphing every pass. To his credit he’s settled down a bit so hopefully he finds a groove. Makes me wonder whatever happened to Deshone Kizer.

His OL and playcalling have not helped him either. This performance is not all on his shoulders. He is building a connection with Calloway.

Book is just so limited physically. Will be very tough for him to have success at this level. Hope he can have a lengthy career.

I wonder what the hell Book did/said to have his OL abandon him completely?

We all knew Book was small and possessed average arm strength even for college. The one thing that afforded him success in college, his legs, has been completely neutralized by the speed of the NFL.

Hoping for an 8 min Miami drive because I can’t watch Ian get his head taken off. 2 of those last 3 sacks were free runs
