I completely understand what you mean. My record for watching ND in person was awful, but as of late it's been better.

Notre Dame at Syracuse: 38 - 12 L
Notre Dame vs. Purdue: 41 - 16 L
That was the most annoying game. We sat behind the Purdue band listening to them "boiler it up" every 5 seconds.
Notre Dame vs. Syracuse: 34 - 10 W
Notre Dame vs. Michigan: 47 - 21 L
Notre Dame vs. Syracuse: 24 - 23 L
Notre Dame vs. Army: 27 - 3 W
Notre Dame vs. Stanford: 20 - 13 W

Can't really learn too much from local media right now on account of hockey season. No other sports get reported up here, besides curling. There was an op ed in the Strib yesterday spanning two pages about how much 'Canada sucks' and 'Minnesota is the real Canada anyway.'

Lorenz, the Michigan expert on 247, put a CB to ND.

Seems like not only do we have a lot of interest from really good prospects this year, but with Hilliard, the two OL currently committed, Blake Barnett, and the TE visiting March 29 all being elite recruits, seems like we could have a really strong 'committed' class early on, which would might be a domino effect with other national recruits that want to join a really strong class. Wouldn't mind Cornell wanting to hop on board sooner rather than later.

That would be great if ESPN and Luginbill had to talk about how ND got the #1 recruit. With that said, I highly doubt Cornell stays as the #1 recruit. I like him a lot but there are quite a few prospects that are better right now and some that have more upside.

Lol. I have no problem with you thinking Blake is the best in the country. I would take him over any QB this year.

That's my theory. Most of the time the top QB in the class at least gets a shot at the top overall spot.

-Yes, he's expected to visit. Probably with some others from his area.

We remain very much involved here, though we still have some work to do to give comfort to Jashon and to his scheme fit at ND.


I guess what I find interesting is he must think of himself as a 4-3 DE only and didn't have much previous interest in playing 3-4 OLB or 3-4 DE

4-3 DE might be one of the most glamorous positions out there right now since you can wrack up sacks and show off athleticism. Not to mention how many have been drafted high the last few years.

I'd think the changes BVG is bringing will only help us here.

To clairfy, are you talking late summer visit? official in fall? Or the spring game?
