Bobby and I spoke today through Chatsports,

He was VERY encouraging about where ND stands with him.

Said he plays like Michael Crabtree and is hearing most from Oklahoma, Texas Tech, Baylor, UCLA, Minnesota and Michigan State.

Favorites are ND, A&M and Oklahoma.

If ND offered it'd be huge.

From Texas by the way, don't know how to edit that in the thread title.

He's hearing from Oklahoma... all I need to know

Measuring out at 6-foot, 150-pounds, Baze is used to having to prove himself because of his smaller stature. Many wonder whether his body will be able to take the abuse at the collegiate level, but the Texas standout believes he has the skills needed to succeed.

“I'm a good wide receiver that can run good routes and get open,” he claimed. “I catch the ball and then I do good things with it, especially getting yards after the catch. I feel that people overlook me all the time because of my size. Pretty much all these colleges have said they want to see my film or see me in person first before they do anything.”

His so called “less-than-ideal” size hasn't scared off many of the big names in college football yet as a numbers of them have already been reaching out to gauge his interest.

“I've been hearing from Oklahoma, Texas A&M, UCLA, Baylor, Kansas, Notre Dame, Michigan, TCU and SMU.” said Baze. “Texas Tech and Oklahoma State have also been sending me a couple things recently.”

He could be a kid who grows 5 inches in a random spurt and becomes a steal for some program

Why does he need to be 6'5 to be a steal? There are few to no big time receivers at 6'5.
