Jonathan is not flashy and doesn't get much praise. But he quietly get's the job done and does his job well. Kudos to you Jonathan Bonner.

Agreed. He signed with little fanfare and doesn't litter the stat sheet but he seems to complete his assignment and he's given us a quality player for a number of years.

During the game this past week, my buddy and I had a conversation about players like him. We all talk so much about high impact players, and those that underperform, that little is said about guys that just do their job. Bonner is one of them. Many probably wrote him off a few years ago with little PT and all. He still won't go down as some kind of star, and is doubtful to make an impact on an NFL roster. However, players like him (Weishar comes to mind as well) are an absolute necessity for a great team.

Has anyone heard of him playing with a broken hand or thumb or something close to that? Noticed he has a cast on in a picture Mike Elston tweeted about the DL after the Cuse Win. Not sure if it was more of a soft cast protector or a full on cast.
