Another kid I was surprised their wasn't a thread for. Elite talent from LA. Made his early top 5 per 24/7:

Speedy Noil has a top five

Coach Cooks stopped by on him this week. Also received an invitation to The Opening this week.

LSU is definitely the team to beat here, and he had pretty much shut things down before but he and his family realized they owed it to themselves to fully check out all their options before settling on the in state option.

Hopefully we get can a visit, but I won't hold my breath.

I would say there is a negative 100% chance he even considers us.

We are in his top 5, no? I think that is pretty darn good for ND to be in that position with a kid from his area of LA.

Do I think he will ultimately go anywhere but LSU? No, most likely not. But BK and Cooks are trying real hard to at least get our foot in the door with him and Fournette.

Top 5 of LSU, Miami, USC, Notre Dame, Texas A&M

SPARQ rating of 121.00. 41.8" vertical, 4.4 40 there, 4.7 at the NFL Experience.

Edna Karr doesn't typically produce Notre Dame-level students. Algiers (the part of New Orleans on the other side of the river) school in a fairly poor neighborhood. Tends to turn out 2-3 D1-level players every year. Karr produced Patrick Surtain (Southern Miss), Robert Royal (LSU), and Eric Henderson (Ga. Tech). Standish Dobard (Miami) and Noel Ellis (A&M) graduated this cycle. Derek Edinburgh (LSU) and Jarrell Bennett (Arizona) came out of there last year.

Karr is not an LSU feeder school, but graduates definitely tend to stay in the South. The folks at Tigerdroppings consider Noil a very strong LSU lean.

This kid is an absolute freak. He recorded a 45.3" vertical and a 4.40 40 at The Opening. Finished with the second highest SPARQ score ever at 153.51.

Wow. If Fournette really "shocks the world", LSU will have a very, very disappointing day

This kid is good. Really good. Sucks that he never even considered ND. And Myles Garrett as a huge playmaker at DE today. Imagine if he could have actually blitzed. A&M is getting another scary good class.
