A little surprised he wouldn’t have been suspended or placed on probation or something while the investigation was underway, at least.

Agreed, in these situations 100% of the time I ask whether they went to the police. Asking schools to act as pseudo-courts is beyond stupid and it needs to stop.

Rape is an extremely serious crime that should be punished by serious jail time. It is not something that should be dealt with as “school discipline” like stealing an apple from the dining hall.

Being a Colts fan, I was surprised the Colts took him because they typically shy away from these things, but it is the NFL.

I'm more surprised that Title IX doesn't provide identical and specific guidelines for all schools to follow.

Again. How did we know he did anything wrong. If he had been arrested then maybe, but this kid so far has gotten in no real story and this just an allegation without any teeth.
