I just saw the replay on ESPN. It didn't look that bad. Maybe CBS had another angle that was gruesome.

Injury is why the horse collar rule exists. Ironically, it wasn't a horse collar tackle that got him to bend back like that.

Saw on twitter that is was a dislocated ankle and broken fibula. Surgery set for today.

To add insult to injury, it sure looked like he got smoked on a helmet-to-helmet hit in the end zone.

Acutally the replay showed it was not helmet-to-helmet. The defender's right shoulder hit his helmet as he went down.

I'm not going to watch it because I still remember that McGehee injury while he was at the U and I don't want to see anything like that again. Hopefully it wasn't like that and the kid's career isn't ruined by it.
