I have no hard feelings towards a school blocking another school if they have not yet graduated. But blocking a kid from a school that is not in conference or on the schedule (like Wooly stated) AFTER he has completed his 4 year degree is obscene.

So, the NCAA allows for...

Profiting off student athletes
Blocking undergrad transfers
Blocking postgrad transfers
etc
etc

This is awful.

Also, Peterino is setting himself for all sorts of neg recruiting with this one.

I might be wrong, but seems like a hard thing to neg recruit. If a kid would be concerned about his options if he decides to transfer, do we really want that kid? It's not like Wiggins went to UL with expectations that he would transfer later.

I think that most kids would want to have the freedom and not feel like an employee with a "no-compete" hanging over their heads.

How would you even bring it up in conversation though? I'm not trying to sell a kid on the ability to leave later if he wants.

Doesn't want Wiggins sharing the defensive playbook with ND, because obviously it would be completely unchanged two years from now and benefit our offense greatly.

It wouldn't even be the same defensive playbook. They just swapped defensive coordinators with Mississippi State this year.
