A) I didn't go to ND, but most certianly wish I had a degree with that kind of umph behind it and I most certainly wish my university provided me with the network that ND does. Does that mean I am not set up to be successful for my life absolutely not. Does it mean I may have to work harder because it it, I think so.

B) You would be a fool to laugh at someone from ND that is willing to give your student a free education there, regardless of what they said.

I would certainly let my student go to ND on a free-ride, no doubt. We'll just have to agree to disagree as I believe my degree holds just as much "umph" as a degree from ND does, but it probably varies by the type of degree and career path chosen after graduation . My degree certainly didn't cost as much.

EV4 definitely won't be going to my alma-mater, so here's hoping he's IRISH.

Agree. ND might have errored with his name on the list, but this kid is too smart and level headed to let something like this affect his decision. Besides, until he announces there is still speculation, anticipation and excitement for his press conference.

He flipped out on NDDomer2 for hoping that EV makes the "40 year decision". TK22867 apparently interprets that comment as a slam on public universities.

It's used in reference to football recruiting. A lot of the public universities we compete against have atrocious graduation rates for their football players. So the "40 year decision" is to attend a school that will ensure you graduate with a valuable degree, not private v. public.

That leads me to believe something is gonna happen, in terms of a good surprise.

The reporter said, "I hope their won't be any surprises." That is implying a bad surprise (Deontay).
