Idk where you get your info and I'm and insider on isd, and I knoW his mom is a diehard nd fan, but she doesn't want him out by his dad, and this is from isd so idk where you are getting your info from but that's the word on isd

Posted a link to a video of Anthony Barr earlier in this thread, you guys can look for it yourself but she is a High School principal who sent her son to a private school because she did not wnat him skating by on his name or athletic ability. This woman his stressed education her entire life and Barr has said in interviews that he knows she wants him to go to Notre Dame even though she doesnt push it. Seems a bit outlandish to think she would do all of this only to send him to UCLA to get away from his dad. He is a grown man and his father can just as easily get in touch with him at UCLA and Notre Dame. Not all women are as vindictive as soap operas may portray. Just because someone says they have "inside info" on a premium forum doesnt mean they do. We have several posters who can attest to that.

BTW said he had a ggreat visit at UCLA. He did not commit

Per Greg Biggins ESPN 1/20

Mostly a rehash or summary of the usual stuff, Barr is down to two, ND and UCLA and that Barr played RB and Safety and could be a WR, TE, LB, or DE in college ball. Biggins notes now that Barr has taken his visit to UCLA he may be ready to make his decision this weekend.

Ok counter argument, if he wanted to choose UCLA why not commit on the visit.

Basically the UCLA boards seem to think Barr is a lean to ND and we seem to think he is a lean to UCLA. Supposedly not many people have a clue what he is thinking, and when I say not many I mean no one. FWIW A few people from his high school are saying they have no idea and are hearing nothing. Also some even say his mom is not even sure what Anthony will choose.

Best of luck to him, he will make the best choice for himself and only he knows what that is. Hopefully its ND.

He has a good head on his shoulders, he will make the right decision. UCLA is a great school, and so is Notre Dame. Obviously, we are all a little biased towards ND, but he knows what he is doing. I like it being down to these two schools rather than Miami and USC.

ND is not for everyone...but WTF would you go to UCLA when you have offers from schools like ND,USC,UM,FSU,etc? The only time UCLA has any relevance nationally in football is when they play USC.

I haven't been this down by a recruit since Benn went to ****** Illinois.

I respect his decision and all, but it kinda seems weird from what im reading, it almost seems like he left his heart at nd. It seems like hes just going to Ucla because of his gf his best friend, and his best friend's dad is rick who is the coach so it seems weird to me i guess
