:sigh: Here we go again...

Hafis was seen at the Rutgers game this weekend sitting with other Rutgers recruits during the game and hanging out on the field during warm-ups. And apparently rumors were flying around at his game this weekend that he was going to reopen his commitment.

Oh, FUCK.

If what you say is true then I suspect Weis & Co. will be "reopening" THEIR commitment as well ... "If you're looking, we're looking."

Via BGI:

Hafis Williams (DT): The Elizabeth High School standout has helped his team to a 2-1 record. He has been an absolute force, accounting for 31 tackles, including 3 sacks and a total of seven tackles for loss. Williams continues to shape his body and could be underrated at this point from a national perspective.

I heard that he has been an absolute freak in the gym lately. He also should be a 4* but never got enough film out

he can have one star as long as he's an animal on the field and tackles opposing ballcarriers and QB's for losses.

After seeing him play many times on TV here in Jersey I'm here to tell you that he is the real deal.

Stars don't always mean much of anything. As long as he comes in and helps along the DL, I don't care how many stars any of the recruiting sites have him listed with.

Stars absolutely do mean something especially in this class. Imagine CW walks into a living room a couple of months from now and opens up with something like this. I had the #1 recruiting class in the country last year, which means ND will only takes the best of the best and I feel that you are that good. By the way here's your offer.

It will be a very positive recruiting tool for the next few years. That's why stars matter.

The thing that's going to keep the top players wanting to come to N.D. is if the team starts to show that all those stars they recieved can turn into production on the field. If the production doesn't start Charlie will not be able to keep getting the top players.

Your right! I said it was a recruiting tool. I didn't say it was the basis of our program, obviously thats winning football games.

Watched a video of him the other day. He is going to make all of us forget Omar even existed. He is a FREAKING animal.
