Stat that came out on the II podcast that was eye popping. There were a total of 24 catches in all of college football by freshman last weekend. Notre Dame's freshman accounted for 15 of those 24 catches.

I think part of the key to Golden staying is the age of his kid(s). If I remember correctly his wife and kid(s) still live in Cincinnati so there wouldn't be a change of schools. I don't know age/grades but I do think this is a factor. This might keep him at ND until graduation.

Buchner's accuracy has always been an issue, but watching him against South Florida was really tough to see. That was absolutely brutal.

Yep. ND lost to Clemson last Saturday but it was a fantastic day. My wife and I reconnected with a lot of old friends that we hadn't seen in years and a great time was had by all. ND losing was disappointing, but life that day was wonderful.

The helmet technology has an issue with the helmet manufacturers stating that any third party changes made to the helmets voids their warranty creating an issue with liability. The NFL has an agreement in place with their helmet manufacturers.

This part would be pretty interesting. Just guessing here, but I would almost expect some ND players that are on the bubble of opting out of a bowl game would play in this one. I don't know that the LSU players would have the same incentive.

Has there been any ramblings about what stance ND will take when it come to using technology to signal plays in from the sideline for the Bowl Game? Any Bowl that is not a CFP Bowl this season has the go ahead to use helmet technology or wristband technology to signal the plays in. Most of the...

No thanks. He caught lightening in a bottle with that Joe Burrow lead offense at LSU, but he wasn't even calling plays for that team. His stint as OC for the Panthers was absolutely terrible. ND can do better.
