Not good allegedly. One of the big knocks on him as a prospect.

If he cant do that then he's gonna struggle badly.

He had a great pressure and stuffed a run I think in the 1st half - didn't recall seeing him in the 2nd.

Love the win, but there is work to be done.

1) it should provide + momentum in and of itself.
2) Good news is there is plenty of time to improve going into CFP

I’m not sure if we win this game with Toney in the game.

There are definitely the flashes of brilliance and execution, but I still worry about Carr and team (and with MD’s call playing) being able to go blow to blow with a full-powered O like Miami’s, or at minimum, being able to execute a final winning TD drive when it’s needed.

But, again, at the end of the day, we got the win!
And there is runway to get better.

Michigan is a dumpster fire. This is who they are when they don’t cheat their yellow asses off.

Much.

Much bigger win. Although 2020 ND was much less talented than this one is. But 2020 Clemson missed Trevor Lawrence. Malichi Toney is nothing compared to that lol

KMac151993 · 2026-11-07T23:18:58-0500

Get healthy and unlike '93 go pound BC this next week,

Padomer9 · 2026-11-07T23:20:16-0500

I’m pissed at how we blew the lead. But, Miami is good. They’re #1. Did we really think that Cristabol and the #1 ranked team was just going to roll over? It turned into a fight in the 2nd half. I just wish on that one 3 and out we would have ran the ball instead of running 2 fades. Now granted 70 got his but whipped a little in the 2nd half. Then put Walton in and run stretch. That’s the really frustrating part to tonight.

NDWarrior · 2026-11-07T23:20:55-0500

The other thing making it hard to understand how good ND is is that Miami doesn’t play any good OOC games to gauge that.

KMac151993 · 2026-11-07T23:21:22-0500

Turnover free football is how you win games. They did it in '93 and they did it today.

This would have been a blow out if Talich's FF was recovered by ND instead it bounces forward they get a first down and momentum. Football gods paid us back by Talich knocking that ball loose in the endzone.

Biggest home win since 1993 FSU?

College Football Committee giving ND the #11 threw water on the hype.

NorthDakota · 2026-11-07T23:22:05-0500

Mensah was not impressive. I see why he played for Duke.

RocketIsmail25 · 2026-11-07T23:22:08-0500

I was 11 the last time the Irish won a national championship. This year feels like our best chance since the early-nineties.

The best place to make money is G6 and FCS. Vegas is very good at P4 football.

Or to do half spreads, especially with huge full game spreads like 35+.

OKCDomer23 · 2026-11-07T23:36:23-0500

Major shoutout to the defensive line tonight. They pressured Mensah all night and were strong against the run. Especially impressive without Brewu and Onye. This team has heart. Huge victory. Carr delivered a gem. Wow what a talented qb with the moxy of a 10 year NFL veteran. So proud of this team and Freeman right now. Awesome.

Irish!!!!

I’m convinced they have some sort of multi billion dollar computing algorithm because Vegas always knows.

Oddly egough he played his best when they made things (at least appear on tv) more simple

Also would like to give kudos to Mylan Graham. Took that massive hit and still held onto the ball to set up the huge 4th and 3 play to James.

He made 2 huge catches. Kid can get separation. Feel his story is far from over at ND. That was massive to hold on to the ball and not fumble on a big hit. Great game for him tonight.

I have to say at this moment and with the way the second half played out, I’m more relieved than happy.
