Could be very stupid of me but I don’t think that Miami will be getting the usual home cooking in this game. I don’t think the ACC wants to give ND anymore reason after last year to think about dissolving the relationship

As Coach Holtz used to say- you just gotta be the best team in the stadium Saturday night.

Hoping KVA/Carr/Moore live up to their hype and guys are stepping up for the injured.

Still debating how much money I want to spend to be there. Should be amazing

It would be smart of them to ref it straight up. Miami is already in unless they completely collapse down the stretch. That being said, I expect every close call to go their way. Expect a lot of holding calls on our big plays.

Makes a lot of sense, however, until the ND admin shows anything other than all growl no bite I don’t see anything changing. No better time for the leave no doubt motto to actually come into effect although I’m skeptical based on this teams attitude lately.

I have a plane ticket, a rental car, a place to stay, and a tailgate with my college buddies already lined up. Trying to decide if I want to spend $800+ to actually go to the game. I keep waiting for prices to go down, but they haven't really.
Would be more than I've spent to attend any sporting event ever except for the 2012 national title game, and we know how that turned out...

Yeah I see the tickets that I have for my 5 are going for $5300 each haha. I didn’t pay anywhere near that but it’s still a 10k weekend

Thinking of the defensive game plan for Toney and the Miami O. Any thoughts on doubling him with CB-under (Sanders or Gray) & S- over. Then, putting Moore (especially if he’s not 100%) on Barkate to take him out of the game. I know we all want to see the Moore/Toney matchup but my concern is if Moore isn’t 100% that may be a problem.

At this point Johnson, Bowen or KVA, and Brewu if he’s out long term should all be back next year. I know Bowen is the green dot but I actually high on Farimo I love his length

I expect both teams to line up normally most of the time, which would have Moore covering Barkate on the boundary side by default.

I'm not sure ND's defense has had any problem getting lined up when the opponent has less than 12 men on the field. Many people observe something once or twice without understanding the true context, then turn it into a big story in their minds.

Bowen is underappreciated, but we have great depth there.

I may be on an island here but Bowen has been ass this year. He is a “Captain” and not the best Lb nor is he the more vocal leader. He is a liability in coverage and he has played like a pu*** most of the year.

We have one great Lb, KVA and he’s been hurt.

Ausberry doesn’t do anything, he’s small and zero havoc, he’s just assignment sound. Sneed is great if you use him right. Bowen is a sure tackler but not athletic.

"Ass" is probably a strong word, but I have been generally disappointed in Bowen's play this year.

Getting KVA back is massive. He needs to play and play a lot. Between Sneed, Ausberry and Faraimo, ND should be able to handle the loss of Bowen.

I don't know if I'd call it addition by subtraction, but ND certainly gets more athletic with those guys in for Bowen. It's odd because Bowen frankly has looked slower this year than I recall him looking the previous 2 years.

In a group chat with ND buddies yesterday. A few of them are going to the game and have had it planned since the spring. One of those guys is a former college (D3) football player who is 6'3" and now weighs about 350 lbs. He is also the priest who married me and my wife.

He said he's wearing his cassock and bringing incense in hopes they choose him as the guest picker lol
