If Carr has a bad game this weekend is he will be back for another year. If he has a Heisman performance he’s gone and all the ND haters will begrudgingly need to own up to his rightful position near the top of the class.

Maybe it's possible the Bleacher Report writer assumed Carr would be back and didn't include him. The "hater" narratives people manufacture around a one-off post on a website in decline are kind of astounding.

Saturday will be a very big day for his draft status, that's for sure. I don't think he's had a 300+ yard game yet.

CJ's "lack of production" of bulk stats and counting numbers may end up costing him a trip to NYC, but I don't think it will hurt his draft stock. And you know, as much as I would love for him to be a top 3 pick, if he slides a bit to the 10 range and gets to go to a more stable franchise, so be it. Ask Patrick Mahomes if he would really trade being drafted by the Chiefs to go #1 overall.

Our Favorite site Bleacher Report has a mock draft with 4 ND players in there. Moore at #2, Knapp at #10 them Tae and later on Traore but no CJ. Dante Moore at 30. First QB taken was Ok St QB. They must think we lose all 3 big games and miss the playoffs. I didn’t see that the douche ND hater Danny Kannell was involved.

unless he shows something different against Miami and the (maybe) CFP, he’s not going to be a top 10 pick. He hasn’t had a “good” performance against a top team yet. Shocking how obviously rattled he was who comes off as ultimately confident.

The upside is clearly there but he still needs some work. Think he'll end up coming back.

His passes were so bad tonight. Over shooting WRs, throwing into coverage..ect.

Here’s my thing with his end zone misses:

They repped all week with 87 Flanagan at TE. He gets hurt. Gameplan stays the same. They try the same concepts based on their prep
With Flanigan and Larsen. Dudes are two steps slower. Carr puts the ball where he expects Flanagan to be based on reps. Overthrows each time.

Is that on CJ? A bit. Is it on Denbrock for not adjusting gameplan? Yep.

There’s some nuance there I’m not inclined to put all on “CJ had a bad night.”
