I guess my question for you is, what do you have to lose? Tickets will not "Sell out" on a secondary market platform like stubhub. Right now, you're looking at $300 a ticket to sit five together, according to Stubhub.

Worst case scenario, you wait until the week of or even the day of...and pay $300 a ticket. But based on several personal accounts on this site, it seems like generally the value will drop the closer you get to kickoff.

Ticket prices aside, it will be worth every penny. I have taken even non-ND fans to games (even skunkbears) and everyone just raves about the experience, as you know well. I hope you and your family enjoy! Will definitely be a special memory.
Yeah, this seems like the best logic. I've connected with some people back in Michiana who I know from my time growing up there the first 25 years of my life, so I might be able to snag face-value tickets from those season ticket holders who might not attend the game.

And if not, I like your recommendation. Worst case, I pay the current prices, best case we get a better deal closer to kickoff.

Thanks for the feedback

Does anyone have a parking pass they are thinking of parting ways with for this game?

Watched the Locked On Spartans reaction pod to the Toledo game, cliff notes:
- Kicker went 5/6 on FGs (32, 42, 48, 35, and 51 yarders respectively)
- Allowed more pressure on QB than would like to see
- QB was accurate but want to see it against a better opponent
- Gave up a couple of explosive plays that lead to two of Toledo's scores
- Bullard may be a stud at WR
- Run game was disappointing, RBs missing holes
- Pass rush was bad (1 sack against Toledo - described Toledo QB as a statue)

Other Notes:
- Toledo outscored them 13-11 in the 2nd half and actually tool a 1 point lead in the 4th quarter
- Michigan St absolutely dominated TOP (43:16 to 16:44)
- 0 Turnovers vs Toledo

D I think will be worse than Wisconsin. QB is better thrower but not the same run threat. RB Edwards is as good or better than Sama. Fitz will give it to him 30 times. Might be dinged up already though IIIRC. WRs are probably bout the same. OL about the same or better

ND is still #1 on DokEntropy. Using their ratings I put together the projected spreads for the rest of the year, using 2.5pt for home field.

Projected spread of -33 vs MSU lol.

18S used to do something like this. Did my best at recreating the math.
Have not updated the win %'s since last week, but follow across the top, and drop down to the green number for the probability to win that number of games. Since so may are in the upper 90's, the next block to the left is the only other data point that represents a real chance.

As an example, as of today, we have a 82.6% chance of going 6-0 and a 17% chance of being 5-1.
Have a 31.6% chance of going 12-0, 64% of 11-1, and 4% of 10-2.

I’m really looking forward to seeing what the ND defensive pressure will look like in this game since the MSU QB is not much of a run threat.

I’d like to wish you all a very happy 20th anniversary to the Mike Valenti rant!

Only thing I hate about that rant is that he has now embraced it these years later. You now have to use that video, their official page. The Notre Dame fan made video is now gone, I assume for some kind of copyright issue.

Can we surpass the inevitable bed wetting posts that usually hit between today and Wednesday for one week that this is the game ND overlooks? We're now 12 in a row with average margin of victory over 30. Belt to ass, leave no doubt, whatever the phrase is, Michigan State isn't keeping this within 3 scores on their very best day.

So you're saying we are due for a letdown?
