I think he's going to be ND's #3 RB this year and if they put him at KR- with his speed he will run one back this season.

Who knows what goes on in practice or if he is consistent, but he was clearly the best back today imo.

The few Carrie’s he has he looked different than the other guys. By different I mean better. Not impressed with the running ability of the other guys. Williams has looked good in previous years. He looks slower now.

I think Aneyas is closer to the 4th best back than he is to being 1st. Kedren has looked good in every carry he’s been given too. Him and Walton have the most “fall forward” of all.

Wasn't it said earlier in camp that he and Osborne are struggling with pass protection? I get everyone's excitement with the young guys but you have to remember that we have a lottery pick at QB and priority number 1,2, and 3 is to protect him. If he can't protect the QB then he's not going to be playing a lot early on. That is likely what will keep Aneyus and Nolan getting the majority of the reps.

Not saying he will be as good as Nick Chubb, but he reminds me of him somewhat in the power + speed combination.

He had some pass pro reps when Grubbs was at QB. Looked fine.

Yes, Denbrock said Walton has a ways to go on pass pro but hopefully he’s closer since being quoted. Williams had 20 carries vs Wisconsin. J Love & JD rarely got to 20 carries last season. He looked worse for wear on short rest so I’m giving him a little grace but agree Walton looked better. As of now, gotta go with Williams b/c he’s best suited to run, catch & protect CJ
