Just get the MF ball in the playmakers hands from Day 1 MF....that way we avoid the "September Slopes"
LOL 🤦‍♂️
Gray is supposed to cover Frazier, Traoré is playing in space and should deny passing lanes.
"supposed to" always being the operative word for his coverage skills.

Pretty much how 'Bama was playing Keeley in situational downs (albeit he looked much better)...much rather that be Sneed, Ausberry or Talich.

You're saying those three at Drop DE or just as Box Safeties in coverage on crossing routes, etc?

Kids got that ‘it’ factor. Wonder how he slots into team sets, or if he can make a crack at being a starting receiver for ND

He's in control of his own playing time as we approach kickoff. If he's made it this far into fall camp, still making plays, he's set himself up for a growing share of snaps. If he protects the ball and produces, the sky is the limit for Bubba. His speed is a major asset.

I think his strengths can play with CJ's strengths

CJ Carr is an extremely accurate QB. If he can hit these guys in stride on slants that is YAC heaven for wide receivers like Bubba.

Haven't been this excited for a small, fast, shifty back since Davonte Neal

It seems very unlikely that he will unseat any of the veterans but it wouldn't be surprising to see them dial up a handful of touches/plays for him if he really is that dynamic with the ball in his hands. By all accounts he is the most explosive WR, so why wouldn't you try to hit a few big plays with him if you can?

There is a gaping void for a tall, physical boundary receiver but we have at least 4+ guys that can be productive at field and slot... only one ball, if you're getting routes that means you're taking them from someone else. Thats the main reason I would temper expectations.

If we are going to go more under center, he would be a good guy to have align tight to the core of the formation and run jets. Jet from the gun hits too slow in 2026. UC? it shines

Agree with his speed he should get 2-4 plays per game just get the ball in his hands

That kind of coverage they are running is also surely one where they give up the inside release while dropping the end under that route. You do not "cover" that as a CB, period. You are playing with outside leverage. If the QB is able to wait for the receiver to clear and no safety is able to come up and play the ball, it is a completion 100% of the time. The only thing that clip shows is Carr making a good throw and Frazier being faster than everyone so he doesn't get run down from behind.
