10.43 is a guy that could easily get a D1 sprint scholarship to run 100m and 200m. If healthy, by next June of his senior year he could be running in the 10.2s.

10.43 at 6' 200lbs is scary AF. He's already beat his previous best by .11 from last year. He is massively underrated.

Rocket only ran the 100 3-4 times at ND is the craziest thing. He ran 10.34 in High School.

10.43 is absolutely flying with a football build. At 180-185llbs with his body geared towards track, he'd already be running in the 10.3s, which is a small step below elite.

Rocket was listed as a 4.55 guy in high school at 175 lbs. The scholarship offer left me scratching my head.
Rocket played HS football at Meyers high in Wilkes-Barre for former ND football player Mickey Gorham('56 Frosh recruit for Terry Brennan).
Despite any 'listed' HS 40 times, ND knew how fast Ismail was :
(Per the ND Media Guide bio on Rocket, he was named the 'male athlete of the year as a HS senior by Pennsylvania Track & Field Coaches Association : winning the Pa State Class AA 100 meters in 10.63; the long jump at 24-31/2 and anchoring the 400 meters relay State Championship team

Rocket who?? Ismail was listed at 4.3 by UPI Recruiting in '88. He was the Golden West National Invt'l Runner-up in the 100 meter in 10.38 and the 60 meter National Champ in 6.28 in High School
