I haven't even heard Shrews be mentioned in Butler circles, I'd take him as an assistant.

That hire would make zero sense for butler. I could possibly see why Shrews would want it though, low expectations and he’s from Indy

I heard Travis Steele may be a possibility. Played at Butler and if you know anything about Butler, they love people with previous connections to Butler.

We have a couple of good ones already.

In all seriousness I am not sure why it just hasn't clicked...he had a good run there to get to the tournament at Pedo State and thought he might have finally put it all together but in reality is just a 500 coach. Some guys just can't handle the first chair...he is a good assistant coach (Butler, Purdue, Celtics).

Butler is going to kick the tires on Nored, Drew, Groce, Steele, and McCaffery I would bet. HUGE hire for our young AD.

Randomly looked up Dom Campbell (F, for the bball team in Brey’s last year) and he no longer plays basketball. Plays offensive line for UCF now.

I believe he would have been eligible for the 2025 NFL Draft since he graduated last year, and since he was not drafted, he is a free agent.

We need upgrades at coaching and personnel. We should at a minimum force him to replace some of his assistants and upgrade via the portal. Definitely need some real help inside

…and outside. Inside and outside. We need to get them on the run once and keep them on the run. Only pass when their defense gets up too close. We’re gonna go, go, go, go. And we’re not gonna stop until the ball goes in the hoop. And that day will be the day we’re gonna finish at least in the top half of the ACC.
