Honestly, given the current depth in the QB room, I wouldn't mind having a guy who has actually played college football available in a pinch. Though to Veritate's point it's probably a good idea to give practice reps to one of the young guys, for developmental purposes.

The kid has head issues. Can't figure out in 8 years off and on at Notre Dame what you want to do? Maybe he will figure it out at 35

He has head issues and it’s simply he went to ND, as he committed to. Then his HC and OC left so he followed said OC. OC left again so he went back to ND.

Hardly a head case of decisions by today’s standards of the portal.

ND can have over 105 players, he wouldn’t be taking anyone’s precious spot.

Tyler is set to be an investment banker at Goldman Sachs upon graduation. So to leave that on the table, he has to have a good opportunity in front of him with the football program. He is a prime example of the power of a Notre Dame degree if your NFL dreams don't work out.
