Assuming a rev share agreement is signed, ND would have to pay a buyout to Duke. NIL agreements aren’t binding, though. This is what OSU was going to have to do for the Desir twins at FSU. Believe Texas Tech has to pay Cincy as well for Sorsby. It’s what would have been done for Demond Williams if that buyout wasn’t prohibitive.

Idk what the deal for Mensah/Barkate is, but I’d assume the buyout for Mensah is around $4MM based off what I’ve seen and that’s more problematic bc that’s supposed to be prohibitive, but Miami getting all the ACC money is allowing them to afford it.

Eric Thomas mentioned on Locked On Irish pod today that ND might still look for some DSAs (those players exempt from the roster cap) in the portal and could add up to a half dozen of them. If we still have some money lying around, I'd hope we could get some of the better ones out there.
