I just gotta say, the most embarrassing fanbase continues to be Texas. It’s hilarious reading all of their comments. They continue to live in delusion because they have nothing left to hold onto other than hating ND.

Don’t lose three times and to Florida fucking bozos.
Are they still threatening to speak to the manager (the networks)?

The real annoying thing is that ESPN is getting exactly what they want here. 3 notable teams with sizable fanbases watching every game, arguing with each other and hanging on every word of their analysts.
Idk about that, Miami fans seem to only watch the ND game.

Imagining a world where play-by-play guys just did play-by-play, and color commentators restricted themselves to providing commentary on the gameplay aspects of what they were watching, drawing from their personal football expertise. I have never in my life wanted to know what America's dumbest former and/or frustrated athletes think about broader structural issues.

It's all BS... he basically said since GA lost to AL earlier in the year at GA means more than this game (SEC Champ game).... he stated a slippery slope because if the SEC Champ game doesn't mean shit on the rankings... then the TT vs BYU didn't mean shit either - which it did and both should.... stupid comment by Herbie IMO.....
I just meant his comment about if Alabama gets blown out an argument could be made about both ND and Miami being in it. But yeah, it's all crap.

I honestly don’t understand the constant analysis and updates of the odds. The only way that has any bearing is if you really believe that there are leaks coming out of the committee mid game no less

Sometimes they send in a 5th column or sleeper cell to spread propaganda about Disney resorts years ahead of time. Only for them to reactivate around playoffs time.

I trust Vegas WAAAAAAAAAY more than I trust anyone on any message board or podcast or FB post. They have skin in the game, everyone else is just a butt sniffer.

Based on Tuesday’s movement in Vegas, there are definitely leaks
Yeah, I don't think it's that committee members are on the phone with the sportsbooks giving them updates as they go, I think it's more that that the books know that it's possible Bama gets left out and that perhaps that had been discussed before. Because yeah, I was skeptical of the "leak" angle myself, but after it accurately predicted the Bama jump I'm more on board with it.

The committee knows ND is one of the better teams and they have kept us above Miami all along easy way to avoid head to head move Bama down and still put them in over Miami

Yep. This week's ND-Bama flip was also insurance against a BYU win. If this game keeps going the way it's going, we're safe and it's a Miami vs. Bama fight, with no guarantee Bama prevails.

I knew ND was all in on Texas Tech when the odds changed with every first down.
