Ohio TE Set For Spring Game

Visited ND before and is coming again, obviously.

Says Elston really likes his film and wants to see him in person.

Haven't discussed an offer at this point but if they did offer, would be near the top.

Plans on visiting Wake Forest and hopefully Nebraska and Northwestern.

Says coaches also are looking at him on the defensive side because of his athleticism.

Problem with him is the same for Zaire, they play in a wishbone style offense.

Hasn't spoken to Coach Kelly yet but ND invites him to a lot of things.

By the way, he also says Zaire absolutely loves ND. He was at the Michigan State game last season.

I tried embedding his game film but it's apparently not showing up.

It's funny, when I watched Zaire's highlights I remembered thinking that he was throwing to a couple of decent pass-catchers, and remembered one of them being a kid wearing a number in the 30's. Looked bigger than everyone else but also outran smaller DBs. I guess I now have my answer

EDIT: I know it's a long way off, but it wouldn't hurt to land a QB-TE duo out of the same school, helps to provide a comfort level and a chemistry right from the start for both players transitioning to a new program.

matuska and hart play in very similar style offenses.

i would say hart gets more opportunities to catch the ball, but like it was said both teams rely heavily on their run game and controlling the clock. they both remind of the type of guy that's gonna be a good blocker at the next level at the TE position, but limited potential in the passing game.

A big guy who runs well, can play defense due to his athleticism..sign me up. It appears although he could play defense, he is being recruited as a TE for ND. Just going off the article.

The approach that BK and his team are taking excites me. Kids with great potential and have room for growth.

This. Fits perfectly with the "big skill" concept that BK & the staff are going for.
