Being from NJ I would say that the better HS football schools are located in the Northern and Central part of the state. South Jersey in not really known for fielding strong teams. I actually can say I have never even heard of his HS. Not saying the kid does not have potential (I am sure he does or he would not have been offered a scholarship) but I would definitely hold off on getting overly excited or labeling him as a "beast".

I don't care if you live in Maine. A 4.41 electronic 40 as a soph is beast. And getting an interception every six plays isn't bad either.

Do you care that I live in Maine? I will admit, I do not run a 4.41 anything. I don't intercept often, but when I do, it's usually every sixth play. Stay thirsty my friends.

WEREWOLF.

I think werewolf is strictly a big hitting defensive player designation...Jarett Grace and now Danny Spond. I like to think of Kinlaw as a bird of prey something like an osprey or a falcon. But whatever label one wants to apply I like everything I have read about this young man.

How dare you bash my motherland.......SoJersey......all kidding aside, I am closer to central than south but who really care about me!!! As for this kid, I will pay attention to his school and league this year to learn more about him but more than a few obsecure kids came from South Jersey to have pretty good careers......BJ Ragi comes to mind as someone you probably never hear of and then he burst on the scene at BC and is now doing commercials with the GB Packers......just saying......to just judge the kid on the competition is not completely fair.

Yeah I thought he was down for the count when that mail cart hit him but I was wrong.....he was determined during rehab and he came back stronger than ever.

Absegami has an OK rowing program. All I know about them.

We played Absegami in football back in 2003. Meh program back then but lately have been getting better.

JC Shurburtt was on Bill King's radio program this morning and was asked about ND's recruiting. Out of all the recruits that we've gotten verbals from, he seemed to be the most excited about Kinlaw. He used the term "electric athlete" to describe him.

According to his coach he is up to 6'1" and ran a electric 4.41 40.

Tom Leming said this:
“Rashad is a super talent,” Lemming said. “He’s the best corner in New Jersey. Notre Dame got a good one. He has great size and he’s a remarkably gifted athlete with good body control and balance. He has all the tools to be a great corner at the next level. I really think he’s a blue-chip guy that would be a five star if he got to play his whole junior season.”

Kid reminds me of Bennett Jackson in terms of size and speed.
