There's probably not many people who remember Tom Lehrer. My parents had all of his albums, and we listened to them quite a lot.

That was good stuff...understated...just enough whit...not carrot top...not Dennis Miller...JUST Right...

(I kid...I love Dennis Miller...but he can be exhausting when you are drinkin)

I realized that just before I pulled up your post. I screwed up when I reset my watch for DST.

You had me thinking that in some way I was wrong in thinking that it was Pi Day....that's how much of a trusted source you are.

A little gentle, calming post St. Patrick's Day music:

Also a reminder to hydrate that hangover and an inducement to p¡ss out that last of that green beer you drank ...

Can't believe you didn't choose to go with the more famous work by Handel, Messiah.

Even when performed by monks who have sworn a vow of silence it's a bit too raucous for March 18th.

Perhaps I should have gone with the lesser known but equally soothing "Water Song" to encourage toxic expulsion and healthy re-hydration.

I always forget just how much I like this one until I hear it again. That precise downbeat is awesome.

But you live on in vinyl, tape (8 track, reel-to-reel & cassette), CD, DVD and YouTube.

May you pick forever among the wildwood flowers.

I have a question for you guys. First off let me say that I love all kinds of rock music and that's my favorite genre. But why is it every time I'm talking about music to someone and I mention that I've never really liked Radiohead, they look at me as if I've just kicked a puppy or pushed an old lady into traffic?

Like I HAVE to be listening to them or something.

Great call, DShans. I had great fun once driving down the packed main drag through Gatlingburg, TN in my convertible blasting Flatt & Scruggs Greatest Hits at full volume. My way of contributing to the local atmosphere.
