This is great News. Compared to Vick as well. Is really exciting. I highly doubt Kiel, Henrix or Golson Leave. Reese maybe. But what a great job this coaching staff is doing.

It's always a good day when you **** off OSU and Bama fans in the same day.

I dig that he's a lefty too.

Apparently Malik had to visit Bama and OSU before his offer became commitable. Most OSU fans thought once he visited he would have a commitable offer.

We actually do care what Philly has to say. He, unlike you, actually contributes to the board. But I assure you, that you're time here is limited. You will be banned soon. That much is a guarantee.

Gentlemen. Let's just act like this dude doesn't exist. He will be banned in short order and he will will be back to trolling some other board. There is no reason to even respond to him, because after all, that is the only reason he is posting. To try to get us riled up. He is a typical troll. The mods will take care of him shortly. Let's just get back to Malik shall we?

Thank you.

Guys this has been the best two recruiting days ND has had in a while. Let's celebrate.

Yeah, i'm just going off his offer list on the recruiting sites. Either way, their fanbases are unhappy that he is Irish. That's good enough for me.

thanks to the mods who cleaned up the non sense.

not sure if malik's a QB in college, but he's got elite athleticism none the less and is the type of spread QB worth going after. gonna need some work throwin the ball, but he'll put in the time.

Great surprise, and excellent pick-up. Welcome to Malik

However, it would be nice if posters could wait at least a day before commencing a 2013 QB controversy meme; especially since the 2012 QB controversy is officially only 3 practices old.

Seriously though, the incessant chatter about who will transfer is ridiculous.

Leave the board. No one here will miss you.

It's not like I'm not going to visit the site for recruiting news and don't care if my account gets banned. I didn't post today with the intent of malice but every time I post there's always someone trying to cut down what I did post regardless of what I've posted. The shtick of a few around here that think their opinions only matter gets tiresome. And talk about pot calling kettle black, the bad mouthing of ndnation, it's the same situation here, with very pompous members, if not more because there are less educated people around here.

My two cents, I'd rather have taken A. Bailey. Of the two, Bailey seems to be the more polished passer with athleticism a push between the two. Not digging him being a lefty either. Receivers always talk about having to adjust from receiving passes from a left handed QB when they're used to getting passes from a right handed QB.

Weird. Josh Hemboldt on Rivals said that Malik is the most similar prospect to Michael Vick as he's seen in the past 10 years.

People keep saying this but I just don't see Hendrix leaving. He seems like the kid that chose ND for ND, not for ND football. Could be wrong.

I have been told that by team members that he wants to start, badly enough to leave.

but thats off the point.

Mike Vick? Good enough for me.

yea all those receivers that can't catch...that's the biggest crock of bull i've ever heard.

Bailey eliminated us awhile ago too if i remember correctly.

Yeah but the closest thing to Mike Vick in yrs I believe a recruiting expert said isn't good enough for Meyer is laughable

Honestly i have a very hard time comparing him to Michael Vick. He might have traits but wont compare him. Michael Vick is a once in a life time player imo. no one compares to Vick. He might have traits though i do see that.

Rivals Midwest analyst Josh Helmholdt said that no QB in the last 10 years reminds him more of Mike Vick than Zaire. He is a south paw, has a rocket arm, and is a freak athlete. He isn't as fast as Vick (who is?) but is extremely quick and posted a 34.5 inch vert at the US army combine in January.

Maybe compared to Vick now, but Vick was as raw as Denard was coming into college football. He was still pretty raw when he got into the NFL too. It wasn't until recently that he became a better passer.

But I get your point.

Curious what that's based on. I looked for highlights of Bailey maybe a month ago, and he probably threw fewer than a half-dozen passes in the videos I could find. Clearly a great athlete though, as is Malik Zaire. I'm thrilled to get Malik. Wasn't expecting that one.
