Just in case any cynic out there believes that threads such as this are phoney: I thank with my heart and soul that we have a coaching staff which works so hard and continuously on what in many ways is the toughest coaching job in the country. Rather than ragging on ANY of them, we should be praying that 1). they stay; and 2). don't burn out. God bless you guys no matter what some of the clowns around here think.
Secondly, our players are studs. Anyone with eyes open sees it. These guys can really play. They're also good people. Man, I'm proud of what I know of them. We'll get you guys in the right spots and make a powerhouse. We short-sighted fools on IE don't stop enough to think about these guys' talents. Does anyone think that only a few teams in the country would like some of our players?? Can you really imagine who the average Big 10, Big East, ACC, PAC-10, Big-12, even the average team in the SEC would like to pick from our roster?? It seems to me even LSU was trying to get a certain little ol' QB a few weeks ago.
Quit slamming this great staff and these great kids who constitute our roster, as if they're not good enough to get it done. We were ONE playmaker away from kicking almost everybody's butt LAST season. We're privileged that any exceptional coach wants to coach here at all with some of the incivility and mindless cretinism that spews about this landscape. Coach Kelly and all the Staff and players [ALL of you], I love you if no one else does, and that will not change.
