RJ? Not to sound like an idiot.....
RJ = Robert Blanton. If that's not what you were asking, I'm the idiot.

You nailed it NDPhilly. You have a lot of knowledge for a high school kid. Kudos to you.
3.3 GPA is pretty good, nothing to be ashamed about at all.Says my 3.3 GPA. FML

Apparently the reason he left Michigan is that he started looking around and Hoke has a strict rule against that so he dropped him. Not Academics or because he was a bad player or anything like that.
Steve on II compared him to the Chris Brown of the Defensive side of the ball. He thinks he is very underrated and a perfected fit for our scheme. As for anyone that questions his speed, he ran a 4.61 at the opening. The exact same that Tee ran.
Really at my old high school that would be a solid showing. Not honor roll, but still very good.At my school? Very Average. Probably below average. To many APs this year.
If Yuri Wright is off the board because of this epic twitter injustice (although my hunch is that the issues have to be much deeper than that....) then I imagine we push hard to land a Standifer or Redmond before NSD. Right now it appears we have 4 (max 5) scholarships available and will push hard for Ekanem + 1 CB before NSD rolls around and then take our chances swinging for the fences with some elite prospects.
Standifer, Poole, Darby, Redmond, maybe a mystery person
We'll see about Ekanem
I think that we will push hard regardless of whether Yuri is available. We need another corner, and I think Standifer's senior tape alleviated everyone's doubts that the kid can play.
IMO, Yuri is all potential, and there are signs that he may not have his head screwed on straight. That's a bad combination. Redmond would be great for his speed.
I'll be interested to see if we push for Ekanem.
Gonna happen.
Standifer's results from Nike's SPARQ combine at The Opening can be found here.
40: 4.614 s
Shuttle: 4.38 s
Power Ball: 38'
Vertical: 30.7''
His overall "SPARQ" score of 91.77 was 15th of the 21 CBs who participated.
"Notre Dame, Boise State, and Pitt sit atop Standifer's list according to Josh Helmholdt of Rivals.com.
It's just those three," Standifer told Helmholdt. "I was going to visit Pittsburgh after National Signing Day, but now I want to sign on National Signing Day to get it over with. So, I am trying to go to Pittsburgh next week during the week."
Standifer already has official visits set with Notre Dame (Friday) and Boise State (Jan. 27). The Broncos even made an in-home visit this week. "

Two questions (not meaning specifically to you Whiskey)
If his numbers are comparable to Tee's, then why only 3 star?
How good did the other CB's rate at the "SPARQ" event?
