He may be. It's possible that Kiel wouldn't start immediately, which is maybe what he meant. But, it's not likely that he won't be an impact player if he signs up.

Aaron Lynch looked pretty wishy washy too.

Barring some extraordinary circumstances, this seems like the most likely outcome for next season. Of course, this is all predicated on Gunner being all Irish.
