No real news in that link kuehnja. Looks like we might not hear until tomorrow on the Armsteads. Things are certainly trending positive though.

to summarize the last few 247 articles

Arik's father said Cal was the leader 12 hours ago
Cal is now out
Between ND and Auburn---every source feels ND leads
Wiltfong was talking about Gunner in his initial article about a 5-star flipping

Arik not going to Cal is huge for ND. Gotta feel things are trending positive for the Irish on this glorious day!

Keith Arnold saying that Arik will need to be on campus at ND tomorrow and that ND doesn't give the flexibility of other schools... so that seems problematic with Arik apparently not deciding tonight per ISD.

I, personally, don't believe Keith Arnold. I'm pretty sure as long as you're enrolled by the end of the add-drop period you are all good.

The guy from the Sacramento Bee says he talked to Guss Armstead. Apparently Lupoi actually met with Arik at their home last night. He was stunned to hear the news. Guss says Washington hasn't been a consideration and won't be.

Most definitely agree with you. The add-drop period is the important date.

correct me if I'm wrong but it sounds like there are two conflicting reports. One (Sapp) says Cal is out. Another (ISD) says no one has been eliminated.

IMO the ISD report doesn't have the most recent info. I'm starting to get very optimistic

24/7's story said that Arik would enroll Thursday if he choose ND, and would be playing basketball immediately.

Yeah, because ND has all his signed papers and if they want to they can register him for classes and he will just record 2 absences in each if this drags out another week... 1 of those absences being syllabus day. Not really a big deal at all, so I think Keith is wrong.

I think they are both probably accurate - they are simply from different sources: 24/7's from the father and ISD's from the son. It is not hard to believe or understand that they would give different answers to that question, and why.

The Sacramento Bee guy just said that Guss told him Cal is not out. Sapp got the quote from the USC 247 guy.

He was obviously trying to mess with us.

Tosh Lupoi decides to go to UDub the day before Arik would decide

Gunner Kiel reconsiders the day before he needs to show up at LSU

Proof that there is a God, and that he is now a ND fan.

Some suggest Guss Armstead too involved with sons;ridiculous;is excellent buffer, understands this process & sons love him to tears...

sb_joedavidson Joe Davidson
Final word from Guss Armstead: "We'll meet late 2nite as a family, talk, pray, decide soon." Loss of Tosh hurt?Absolutely, but Cal not out it

sb_joedavidson Joe Davidson
Hearing from several parents of Cal verbal commits & one writes "Losing Tosh changes it for our son & may cost Tedford his job long term."

As for Armond Armstead:loves it at Notre Dame;does he go there?Doesn't know;does he

Anyone know what the above article says?
