247 dropped him a bit from the #1 overall player to #4 and changed his position to athlete.

ahahah I know you guys think players get dropped because of ND interest, but they did make solid points in saying why he dropped. In practice he is a physically imposing guy and is strong, but he's very slow and was getting put off balance during the Army game. Also, his upside is HUGE on the O line. On the d line it is less so.

I would rather him play on the OL personally, anyway.

I think I read that he gets bored with it; too easy for him in high school. Which it would be different in college, but I think he would do just fine there, too.

Per ESPN yesterday evening:
"“I’m going to Auburn,” Armstead said. “Me and my brother Armond are both visiting, and we leave Thursday, and we’ll be back home on Saturday."
Final visit for Armstead, could announce Sunday - Football Recruiting - West Region Blog - ESPN

Doesn't mention ND portion of this but states that THEY'LL leave Saturday.

(FYI...it is a premium article, but this was in the free teaser part so I don't think posting this is bad...that's my story and I'm sticking to it)

Auburn site has Armsteads visiting ND this Sunday after Auburn. auburn.247 sports reports that arik, armond and their dad will visit auburn starting Friday and that armond and his father will then leave for ND on Saturday night.

Drinks on me if this happens

Well if it's true it's very good news. I'd guess he needs to meet with nd doctors at some point so this could be that opportunity

In the mist of all the chaos...this is the best post. I too, have no f*cking idea what is going on and who is staying where with who and who's dad is flying to meet who at what campus. On Sunday. Or any other f*cking day.
