Really not that smart ***... minus the follow on... which was meant to be a funny way of saying we're all playing the same waiting game until he lands on campus and it's not likely that anyone will have an update until Friday. But I can see how it would come off as flippant.

(My comment was intended to be more towards "are you expecting a status change?" Because there hasn't been any since it was reported a couple days ago he'd be flying up to SB on Friday. And if/when that changes you can imagine someone will be blowing up this thread with an update.)

No way man i'm told old and tired to be negative. I meant any news as in tweets or is he their saying how awesome it is. All you younger guys follow these guys on every electronic device available....Curious to see if he has said anything through the wire....or should i say "wireless" device....

This one now appears over, as the talented corner is headed to South Bend this weekend and will start classes for the Irish later this month as an early enrollee.

“I actually leave on Saturday,” Shepard said. “I’m so relieved this whole process is over. The past month has been stressful, and I had a lot of people pulling me in different directions. I stayed strong in the end, though, and I’m happy to be going with my first choice all along, which is Notre Dame.

I feel like every year the recruit is the one who is going to solve the problem, and then we instantly forget about him when they arrive on campus.
