Makes me wonder if Kiffin told him to find another school with their number's crunch.

I heard they were already one over the limit. This makes them even...but then they picked up ANOTHER commitment today at the AAA game. I don't think Kiffy-poo can count very well. Here's hoping Armond "is likely next."

Don't think so at all. Kiffin raved about Amir during the year, and the USC fans on their boards are upset with this loss. Not even trying to play it off like USC pushed him out or the RB depth is too loaded or his injury is serious.

Kif is a bag-o-$#!+. I wouldn't be surprised if he told him to take a hike with his injury history. Anyway, we are blessed to have him. Good kid, and good family. I'm happy ND has been more flexible of late with transfers. And also like the fact he has a year to sit out and get his leg back in A1 shape.

As likely as any of the other names. If I had to guess that there was anything at all to any of this its armond. We ll heard about papers being cleared

They're going to have to cut or force to transfer at least 6, prob 7 more guys, as they are planning on getting all 15 schollies used on Feb 1.

A lot of USC fans are surprisingly pissed about this; they're not doing the whole "Good, I never really liked him anyway" that you see so often with fanbases (ND fans included). Reporters were RAVING about him so much that they knew Amir had a ton of potential, and they don't have a lot of depth at that spot as it is.

Of course, you still have some idiots:

Whatever. He wasn't that good to begin with. Lacked vision and the ceiling that a farmer or even DJ Morgan have.

Phuk him
He walked out on us and left to our rival, i dont respect that.
HE IS A QUITTER
Our 5th string is ND's 1st string. He's not that good!

It's Lanes' plan. It's called making room for better players.

LOL. But having said that, most fans aren't happy. DOn;t let them fool you when in a week they say they are better off. They are pissed that he's leaving b/c he is good. Even worse that he's leaving to ND...

He's already considered out of the mix when discussing open schollies.

**** On Amir, one USC poster who is in the know said that AMir was having trouble with his roommates (football players). Nothing overly bad, but they were hoping to get it worked out. It sounds as though while it wasn't the cause of the transfer, it definitely didn't help things...

With a father who is a professional conditioning coach, his son will make a perfect recovery if anyone can.

I'm pretty happy about this. Glad he's coming. A year to get stronger, get settled in on the academics. Should be awesome on the scout squad this year with that speed.
