What is the "uniform surprise"?

I do like that stealth look that the helmets bring, other than that might as well be wearing footie pj's.

What if ND incorporated a stealth look into their uniforms? I think that would be awesome.

I'm all for trying new types of uniforms, but never, never should we wear anything but the gold helmets.

I like the look of stripes on the undershirt sleeves. Oregon State has had the best looking pro combat unis to date in my opinion. They are both modern and traditional.

I also like the two color numbers Miami sported a couple years ago.

ND should combine the two concepts. Road jerseys could be white with green and gold (or blue and gold) numbers, with stripes on the sleeves similar to the Michigan unis this year. Home would be green (or blue) with white and gold numbers.

I know some people are against black jerseys, but I had a wild idea (I do mean wild).

Black jerseys with black pants and green tartan numbers. One side of the shoulder is a black interlocked ND, and the other side is the country of Ireland.

Sounds crazy, but I think it would look pretty slick with the gold helmets.

I'm also for green numbers in Ireland game.
