HCTI, what are the odds Cierre is watching the same game we are? I bet thats where this opinion is coming from. Both qbs can run and throw is just frustration boiling out at this point.

I'm sure he is.

It's still a shot at his teammate and that won't be tolerated by Kelly. Sometimes, it's just best for these kids to step away from the cellphone/keyboard and if you have an opinion re: your team/teammates, share it with the family dog or a head of cabbage or something....not out on the www where it's going to be analyzed. He's just backtracking now. Dumb...dumb...dumb.

How anyone could be critical of Cierre on this is beyond me. He tried to make up for the tweet immediately. That is a lot more than can be said for Coach Kelly when he made his own inadvisable comments during the year. The fact is that Cierre's knee-jerk frustration was 100% accurate, just as Coach Kelly's was accurate earlier in the year. In fact, Cierre's comments were far less harsh than would have been understandable in the situation and far less tactless than Kelly's. Now, that doesn't make it wise or the right thing to do, but it is understandable. There are thousands of grown adult Irish fans around the country that have so little self-control over their frustration that they are destroying Rees constantly. How can we then expect a young man who's financial future is being damaged by the QB situation to not even utter a single random indirect pseudo-criticism? The important thing is that Cierre was thoughtful enough to damage control nearly immediately and kudos to him for it.

OK. Cierre's correct about the thought in an ideal football sense. He slipped up in making a publicly misinterpretable comment, but who doesn't? Who wouldn't if there was somebody listening to us all day? He knows better than that, and is doing the right thing, so lets get off him. We don't know the "social circumstances" nor the atmosphere of the moment surrounding the tweet, so lets wish him the best, as we do anyway, and let this float downstream. Anyone who thinks that this indicates anything about Cierre to give his best every play next season doesn't know anything about a good teammate like him and his loyalty to what the staff is trying to do. Keep giving your best young warrior; we appreciate what you do.

Hopefully Snoop taught "Tiny Dancer" Wood that doing the cha-cha in the backfield is a no-no in college football. See hole, hit hole... Didn't seem to bother Jonas none...

Except for the National Champions, who had a QB who started every game this year, and rushed for a grand total of -22 yards, for a -.7 yards per carry. He also was only sacked 13 times. So 1 sack a game, vs. about 2.5 carries per game, and a negative total. The notion that you have to have a mobile QB is a myth.
