FWIW, the coach for Tee and Dee in the game is Steve Belles who was QB for ND in the '80s.

Any more word on him visiting UCLA? That visit scares me because Mora and the new staff are making in roads with recruits in a very short period of time. Deontay said his old recruiter from ASU is the coach now on UCLA's staff who has been in contact with him.

Now the #6 team on 247. After Shumate commits we will jump to at least #5 and possibly as high as #3.

Nobody needs to worry about anything...except maybe how no one will recognize the Fighting Irish because we'll be blowin' up teams in a year or so!

Congratz to Deontay on the 5 star, it's well deserved. Had Tee played I think he may have earned one as well...

The Gem of this stellar class! If we land Neal, how in the world do you cover Greenberry, Neal and Koyack? I don't think we will ever see 8 in the box again. Mahone should have fun in South Bend! With a Dual Threat QB we should never punt again...

Steve Belles absolutely rocked:

True story. Against Purdue, in '88, ND went up 35-0, in the 2nd Quarter. Holtz trotted out an unknown 3rd string QB named Steve Belles, who proceeded to drive the Irish down the field for a TD. (Disclaimer: It was not like Belles threw the ball all over the place. He "drove" them down the field by handing the ball off) On the ensuing kickoff, the returner tucked himself in behind the wedge when suddenly an ND player came flying through the air, practically sideways, and took out 3 guys on the wedge. My friend and I were both like, "Whoa!!! Did you see that?!??!" As we watched the replay, looking to identify the fearless ND player..........we realized that it was none other than that same 3rd string QB, Steve Belles!! The guy got mad respect on that play!!

I <3 when one dude blows-up a wedge.
And when Salvi blocked out two for GA3's first TD.

Sounds great. Do NOT underestimate the potential of Davaris Daniels though. He is a SICK athlete.

I think Daniel Smith will surprise people next year as well. The 3 star from South Bend has shown some surprising speed and could get the first shot at the X if he can keep a healthy hamstring.

probably the biggest word in your statement...he's had some real bad luck with his health, hopefully that changes.

If he runs a 4.39 Darby runs in the 3.9s as in, there is no way Greenberry runs a 4.39.

Probably hand timed. I know he's not that fast.

But, I still think regardless he's faster than Floyd. Deontay is gonna be an amazing replacement.

Balls? Check.

Swag? Check.

God I'm pumped to have this guy. Wouldn't trade him for any recruit.

Greenberry had about half of the catches Beckham had this year but had about the same amount of yards and tds! I agree I wouldn't trade him for anybody in the country. Starter day one.
