either way

either way

all signs point to LSU. speaking for a majoriy of LSU fans if he did pick you guys i would be alright with it. because it wouldnt be alabama or auburn lol. He seems like a great kid from a great family. the future looks bright for the irish and good luck in the future. except if you have to play us.

The amount of viewers keeps growing exponentially...

Presser at 4 though? I thought all of Indiana was on EST(DST) now? Did we move back already? lol

Indiana is split, the individual counties got to choose. I have no idea what time zone Columbus is but here in Evansville we're Central.

Would love to hear from a Tigers fan how you feel LSU meets GK's needs/wants in a school (i.e. proximity to home, strong academics).

I hate to say it...but I'm thinking LSU as well. Don't have any reason why(other than some LSU "insiders" that claim he's already told Miles), just a gut feeling.

Uggghhh.....

Am I the only one confused on the whole 'Gunner talked to Miles during a hunting trip' fiasco? If that is true, then wouldn't that be a serious violation against LSU since it is during a silent period???

Sonofa...why did Delaware have to pick DST?! **** sucks...

Seeing that the "presser at 4" is a LSU joke about Cam though. Thanks newbie LSU poster.

LSU fans will be LSU fans. They assume it's a done deal and if not true, they've created a whole hunting commitment story as a backdrop. The only information LSU fans have been able to point to are tweets from the LSU scout beat writer Gino something. I've read the tweets and they didn't convince me, despite the fervor they bring to tigerdroppings.com's forums.

Steve Wiltfong and Jason Sapp however, most of us know to be lockdown professionals in this business. It's in Gunner's hands. No one knows, but we all love the meme, "where there's smoke, there's fire".

At least it wont be long now, THANK GOD.

Also: I believe Columbus is EST, IIRC.

see, besides that little mess back in 06 sugar bowl, i have nothing against LSU, and most irish fans would be fine with gunner going to Baton Rouge because its not LA, and its not Ann Arbor. good luck to you guys in the BCS, please beat Alabama so we still have more championships than them.

dont think being far from home will be an issue. it seems like he has a great support structure from his family and will be welcome with open arms in baton rouge. ive lived all over this great country and there is nothing like louisiana. we get a bad rap for our fans. we say yes sir and yes ma'am and hold the door open for people. as with acedimics, we both know we cant compare with the likes of notre dame but les cares about his players education and LSU has some great research departments.

We all know you're rooting for Gunner to ND, you'll have a goldmine of name choices.
I <3 Golson, but what are you going to change your name to?

Half my fam is from Louisiana....it isn't that great. We do all those things down here in TX.

Love Louisiana...but would never...NEVER...want to live there.

the only concerns i have with gunner is if he is able to learn how to drop back pass. Brock Berlin is the greatest high school qb ive ever seen. watched alot of his games. he was also a primary shotgun type qb. he didnt pan out so well in college. he would usually have 350 yds by half time and sit out the second half.

I can see from the OP in this thread that he was being recruited by Charlie Molnar, and Tim Hinton. I wonder if Molnar bolting for Umass has any effect on his decision....

I believe the departure of Molnar plus the reputation of Kragthorpe absolutely did play a large factor.

Alot of those guys that throw for insane amouts of yardage in high school have that issue...bad foot work.

I'm sure he can make adjustments. Seems like a very intelligent kid.
