Make it as if you weren't an ND fan
I would take OVs to
Notre Dame
USC
Miami
LSU
Clemson

Verbal to USC only to switch on signing day to Notre Dame

I would go to ND and whoever was having huge games that year. For instance, Alabama/LSU this year.

Just me but I'm the type that would have committed to ND once offered. That's just my personality and would have no need to go anywhere else since I wanted to play at ND my whole life. I understand the need for others to do so but I'm an early commit type of a guy.

I picked mine assuming I wasn't a huge nd fan. I was just a 5 star recruit who really didn't know where he wanted to go haha

As you can see, I picked all warm weather locations outside nd

My top 5 official visits would be

Usc, Miami, Lsu, Texas, Notre Dame

But to pick just one to commit it would have to be Lsu. HOT women, Good football team and warm weather, hostile crowd and overall not a HORRIBLE university.

Or go one to ND, and then the other 4 to teams that ND plays so you could see them live, free of charge 5 times.

That's what you'd tell Lemming to get more Stars.

Then you'd visit California, Tennessee, Kentucky, Hawaii, and Washington on Officials with Unofficials to North Carolina, Florida, Alabama, West Virginia, and Oregon. That would cover all Top 10 Leading Marijuana Growing States.

If I were not a huge ND fan, I would go to Florida, LSU, Alabama, USC, and ND. The SEC is on another level. USC is full of gorgeous women and has had a good football team recently. Plus I have never been to the West Coast. ND has the most prestigous football program and I would be too intrigued of the mystique there to not check it out.

That would be my first instinct.

But then again, i would be annoyed as hell with all the reporters and coaches and fans calling and texting and facebooking me and tweeting me ALL THE DAMN TIME so if I knew that ND was for me I'd end the madness right there. But that's my personality. Some dudes LOVE the attention.

I've said this story inthe past, and I think it's relevant here. My wife and I were at our honeymoon in Hawaii, in line for some breakfast nook for 40 minutes b/c the food was supposedly insane (it was). A dude behind me is on his cell phone talking about football. So when he hangs up, I say eff it, and ask him what he does for a living. He's a h.s. coach in Oregon. Get to talking to him, and the previous year he was the coach at Loyola H.S, the h.s. nearest the elementary school where I teach. SO we have a lot to talk about.

Anyway, we start talking about Anthony Barr, who was his star and was choosing between ND and UCLA. He said having a player recruited by ND was a nightmare for him. He said that the amount of reporters calling him was non-stop. It was insane. Think about it: ISD, 24/7, II, IrishEyes, IrishSportsReport, Lemming, the 2 Chicago papers, the South Bend Tribune. It's crazy when you think about it. I told him that other schools also have a lot of website, but he was adamant that no school was like ND.

So if you think it's hard for a coach, it's gotta be hard for a player as well.

I think Hawaii has a policy that they won't fly you out there for a visit until you're already committed/signed (keeps their costs WA down).

Florida, Miami, USC, Arizona State, ND. I like women, lol. Pick ND like all the other 5 stars above. Looks like we would have a pretty good recruiting class.

Apparently I'm the only lame one in the group. lol

Really hope recruits understand what it would do for their legacy if they win a title with ND.

Recruits can't "sign" in football until National Signing Day in February.

I believe the NCAA allows 56 Official Visits (where the school is paying). Official visits are by invitation from the school in compliance with NCAA regs. A recruit can ask the school for one but he doesn't get to take the visit on his own and bill the school later.

Hawaii only has one verbal now but I believe that's due to the coaching vacancy.

Now that I think about it, I could probably find room for ASU in my top 5.

OMG I know! Our cheerleaders are just plain........UGH! Oregon has some hotties along with TCU.

You mean these little minx's? Yep, I'm gonna go there too.

ASU has them in sheer quantity, though. Gotta play the numbers.
