He's gone. I'm convinced he does not want to be at ND. When he commits to Clemson or USC I will not be surprised.

I have a feeling this comment isn't going to be well received.

I like our chances of landing Darby more than any other school, I'll just put it that way.

I'm just pessimistic, I always felt there was a chance he would go elsewhere.

I'll defend Urbie this time, since he was the first to call Ronnie Stanley a ND lock and he turned out to be right.

Stating the obvious doesn't justify your trolling.

You named yourself after a very controversial figure for Irish fans, and you continue to post baselessly negative comments on this board. You won't be around for long if you keep this up.

I think the major factor in Darby's decision will be academics first then sports (football-track). You can have it all right here young man.

Sorry, you're right, he thinks Darby will go elsewhere. Ban him.

It's just an opinion. I think Darby is all Irish, for the record.

Are you serious? Darby has been a commit since the spring and has said numerous times that his commitment to the Irish is strong. Urb's comment was that because Darby is merely taking an official visit to another school that he is definitely going to commit to another school. Add that to his already rocky start, and it's pretty clear that "Urban" is a troll.

I'm just saying I can see why someone would worry about Darby's committment. Afterall, TT, one of our most knowledgeable posters has said all along that the commitment that worries him most is Darby's. He's burried in ACC/SEC country, and let's face it, ND isn't know for landing elite speed type players. I think he's solid, but the fact that he committed early and is now taking visits can be concerning. But I'm pessimistic towards recruiting as well. IMO he sticks with the Irish, just have a soft spot for Urbie cause he called the Stanley commit a lock first. If he does this over and over, then call for the ban hammer, but I'd throw him a bone on this one. But what do I know.

There's a big difference between someone saying they think Darby might go somewhere else and saying "he gone" as if its a done deal.

For the love of God, I'm not saying I agree with him, I'm actually saying the opposite. I was just commenting towards the people who asked for the ban.

We're just going to have to deal with lots of chatter about the 4/5* recruits, especially the 5* guys. It's that time of year.

Darby has been relatively quiet thru this whole process. I'm sure he understands the impact he can have, especially at ND with the current roster. He's gonna be HUGE!

If I predict the sun will rise tomorrow, will you have a soft spot for me too? We've lead for Stanley for months, and his commitment during or following soon after his recent visit was almost universally expected.

Urb's a troll. He's here to instigate. If his handle isn't a dead giveaway, take a look at what we're doing now. He's successfully trolled this thread.

I already have a soft spot for you ;) If he's trolled elsewhere, then by all means. I haven't seen all of his posts but if this was the first one that was out of line I don't think it warrants a ban. I'll shut up now since I haven't seen his previous posts.

He's made previous posts just like the one that sparked this argument.

I know you were also labeled a troll when you started here, so I understand your desire to defend him. He hasn't been banned because he has (thus far) refrained from posting anything blatantly offensive. But he's walking a fine line here.
