From what im gathering my opinion is he really liked Notre Dame(obviously) wanted to go home sleep on it. If the high doesn't wear off in acouple days he will commit.

Scout.com reporting Ronnie Stanley has narrowed his decision down to Notre Dame, Arkansas, and Nebraska.

Paraphrasing from another board here, but word around Vegas is that he's Irish.

Stanley's coach was apparently on the radio yesterday and was talking with the host about Shaq Powell who committed to Duke. Coach said it was because of the education. The host follows that up with "so for really the same reasons you told me Ronnie committed to Notre Dame? I mean... uh... visited Notre Dame?" So we'll see what happens.

The host tried to trick the coach. What a sleazeball.

Nah, the impression I got was more that it was either rumored or confirmed that he committed (or is leaning that way) and the host blurted out something he didn't mean to or shouldn't have and then stumbled to correct himself.

I have no idea though. I didn't hear it. Just paraphrasing for you all.

From what I gather, he is a silent commit as of last night. Some people held out hope we could pull off the upset here but his weekend visit to ND seemed to have closed the deal--I could be wrong but the indication is, he's ND now.

Ugg, silent commits. I don't understand why someone would be a silent commit. I hope it is true though.

From the Las Vegas Sun

Ronnie Stanley, a four-star offensive tackle from three-time defending state champion Bishop Gorman, will play Jan. 3 in the Semper Fidelis All-American Bowl in Phoenix. Stanley, who is also uncommitted, took a recruiting trip last weekend to Notre Dame. The 6-foot-6, 285-pound Stanley previously visited Arkansas in early October.

Gorman’s Tony Sanchez is one of 17 coaches picked to work the Semper Fidelis All-American Bowl. He’ll be coaching the offensive line of West team.

To reserve their spot in the class and still get their moment in the spotlight and announce in front of all their family and friends or on TV during the All-Star games.

While he may very well be a silent, I'll believe it when it comes from Ronniee himself. I hope he is/does end up Irish.

Supposedly, Ronnie Stanley is set to announce tomorrow. From what I understand, this comes from his facebook page, which I haven't seen. Can anyone confirm?

Edit: Confirmed by ISD. This should be good for us.
