Yup I took a tour of the locker room today and they had three jerseys set up all number 12 with the different uniforms. Also had set up a typical locker with the number 12. Don't know why they chose 12 though if it was Kiel, but the tour guide thought he was visiting tonight and the only one who that would be is Gunner.

Rees wears #11. That's why.

He seems to want to stay home so we will see. Funny USC forums kept saying how overrated he was before this.

Then why cut short his ND OV for a random last-minute cross-country visit to our most hated rival?

Perhaps he's planning on announcing for ND right after visiting USC. That would be a savvy PR move on his part. Quick way to endear himself with the fans.

Who cares right now. Let him envision himself being here, figure it out later.

Wiltfong just reported the visit to USC isn't definite. Not planned yet.

Well ISD posted it as fact that he does intend to go there. But remember......... Greenberry "intended" to take a visit to USC to and cancelled. Kids cancel visits all the time. LOCK IT DOWN STAFF!

PS. Gunner's high school number is 11... odd that they would lay out 12.

If he doesn't end up Irish, it's not for lack of trying on this staffs part. Clearly they are showing they want him and are putting forth the effort to get him. Go Irish, love to have you in Blue and Gold Mr. Kiel.

honestly just don't see him being Irish. I think the fact that he has been in IN all his life and has followed the Irish does not bode well for us at this point....otherwise he would have committed. I don't see him going to USC either and for whatever reason, my gut feeling is Vandy.

We will never be able to recruit as well as USC. It sucks but they are in LA and will do whatever they have to in order to land recruits. I take pride in the fact that ND is selective and the kids that end up here do it because they really want it.

would love to have Gunner but am happy with the QBs that we have....next year is a different story

On what exactly are you basing this opinion? Because virtually everyone who follows recruiting professionally disagrees with you.

I don't understand this sentiment.

It doesn't bode well for us because he's tired of Indiana? He's tired of seeing ND all the time?

Or is he tired of hearing his uncle talk about playing QB here?

If he was tired of being in Indiana, he wouldn't have committed to Indiana.

you are right....my feeling that he won't be Irish and expressing it was obviously folly on a board. Thought I spelled it out....him not already committing is kind of a big deal in my opinion and I just don't see him as Irish......guess I should not post opinions because none of you folks ever do that

and who said he was "tired" of Indiana? insinuated that he has already had a long long time to make his mind up.

Your stated opinion conflicts with every recruiting analyst who has commented on Kiel. Thus, I asked you what you were basing your opinion on, which has apparently insulted you given your petulant response.

You're right that you probably shouldn't post your opinions if you can't defend them without reacting like this.

and who said he was "tired" of Indiana? insinuated that he has already had a long long time to make his mind up.

It was probably your mention ND's inability to ever recruit as well as USC along with USC being in LA. Implies you think USC has a large recruiting advantage due to its location. As far as Kiel is concerned, his initial commitment to IU and the fact that ND likely leads for him means that ND's location isn't a drawback.
