Well, USC's Rivals board commented on it, and they are almost all agreeing (after the fact) that they didn't even want him anyways LOL. What really pisses me off is that they're the recruiting analyst said only this "Bullet dodged". Now, if he means that they dodged a bullet b/c of limited spaces for their receiving class, then I get it. But if he's talking sh!t about his character or his game, then that's some b.s. right there. Thinking about firing him an email asking for clarification.

Of course they are gonna say they didn't want him, If he did decommited and go to USC i bet they all would of been praising him and saying how he was #1 on their list.

Who cares? I certainly don't care what SC posters say or think. Let them talk and then watch DG destroy them every year.

Yea thats some bull. im interested as to why he would say that. the numbers is the only thing that makes sense. say what you want about rankings and stars, but a consensus 4 star top 15 wr is not visiting is not a dodged bullet

That doesn't surprise me in any way. I know they catch a bad wrap but they're fans aren't a whole lot worse than other fan bases.

People on this site spend weeks/months talking about how great a player is and how lucky ND is to have them and then the second a "rumor" is thrown out about them looking around, all of a sudden ND is better off without them.

So if your initial though after reading NDinLA's post was disgust, keep that in mind next time we don't land an ultra talented player.

All that being said, I'll be happy when Deontay is Irish officially.

As far as the"bullet dodged" comment, I wonder if they were hoping to convince him to come in hopes of landing Tee since they need EEs. Tee wasn't going to come, so "bullet dodged." I think almost any team in country would love to have Deontay but USC is in a unique situation with their scholarships.

Absolutely right. I can't believe what I read on here sometimes when we lose a player...

I might get bombed for this but IMO what Floydie did in 2 years of Kelly's offense was great but what Deontay is going to do will be simply AWESOME!!!!!

Balls & Swag to the 10th power......

Deontay
Justin = TD's in bunches

Greenberry has 27 TD catches this year. This label should go to him.

I don't think it's unrealistic to think that a Kelly recruit will truly blow the lid off of the receiving records at Notre Dame.

All it will take, and it's not an easy task, is for a stud WR to come in and produce from the start and the offensive production should take care of the rest.

The same goes for quarterback play. If the fools don't run Kelly out of town, his QB's and WR's will own all of the Notre Dame records within a decade. It's just the style of play.

Thank god. I don't care if everyone agrees with me here however when Ed O is recruiting someone-- watch the F*ck out....the guy is a master recruiter.

Well he tried to swoop in on 2 of ND's best recruits. He got a NO from one and a canceled visit from the other

I think it would be cool if he wore #3, be the offensive version of his cousin.

You sure about that? He could have had 8 this year, unless prior to the year the staff thought he would see the field on the same special teams unit as Moore.

Davaris definitely wanted 8... not sure why he couldn't. Must have been about special teams.
