This is the thread where we say nice things about Hendrix and stop being bitter about Rees.
Sorry about your inability to comprehend what was written. You inferred something I didn't imply. Here's Military Irish's OP comments.

"Didn't want to make it a debate on who should start or who is better." Did that register before you dropped your gauntlet?
Did you notice my entire reply was based on the bolded last two sentences ? (I put those sentences in BOLD for emphasis so the feeble minded would not get into a urinating contest as Military hoped)?
I addressed only the "could have easily been won" comment. I never singled out any QB but rather noted INCLUSIVELY that all were afflicted by the untimely pass, sack, Military had noted. I added the fumble as all three QBs shared that as well. I didn't single anyone out nor compare any of them, did I?
Clausen, Quinn, or Montana, Joe not the walk-on, would not have won that game "easily" with what was probably the worse performance of the OLine this season. Cave was sorely missed. The young TE looked like a turnstile.
If you followed the body of my comments since last Spring (they're still up on the board) you'll find I consistently wished for the QB that gave the team the best chance to win would be the one selected to play. I consistently stated "I have no horse in the race" and posted, "May the best man win".
I chided inane comments about a 170 pound QB starting in an offense where the QB takes a pounding, I noted that calls for record setting QB performance and a Heisman were baseless where that QB hadn't shown he had mastered the offense yet, I commented in the Spring and in the Fall on "cannon arms" and "weak arms" and freshman that had to learn "the system". And when posters again made inane comments like yours I responded accordingly, objectively not in support my candidate as I didn't have one then or now.
I gave kudos to Hendrix in the Game Day thread. I acknowledged his strengths and left the negative aspects to others. There are "fans" here whose M.O. is denigration.
I responded in this thread to one aspect of Military's OP. Why can't you respect his wish in that OP? I did.
