Another prospect from Hamilton High School where former ND player Steve Belles coaches. Hopefully we will get one of his boys to wear blue and gold someday.

They have him playing close to the line of scrimmage a lot. Good size, I'd assume a strong safety down the line.

Chandler (Ariz.) Hamilton safety Reggie Daniels said USC, UCLA, Notre Dame, Michigan, Boise State, New Mexico and NAU have stopped by recently. The 6-foot-2, 185-pound prospect has eight offers and recently said Notre Dame, Arkansas and Oregon State were recruiting him the hardest.

Kids def a hard hitter and looks like he has solid hands too. Interesting that Arkansas is the sole SEC offer.. did they make the top 8 domer? Dont have II premium.

That's usually about the only thing that cuts us out of top 5 lists nowadays...

I don't qutie understand this staffs thinking sometimes. It is like they get stuck on certain player and if wedon't get them we really don't hav stars to go get.

This kid dropped us a long time ago.

Are you thinking of Charlie's guys? This staff has a boat load of backup plans.

At DB, we have 5 committed and are actively pursuing, and are actively pursuing:

- Shaq Thompson
- Yuri Wright
- Brain Poole
- Will Redmond
- Marcus Rios
Maybe
- Elijah Shumate
- Ishmael Adams

Of the guys you listed the only one probaly playing here is Rios if we ever offer.

Why do you think we wouldn't have offered? That's right, because we have other guys who have serious interest in the program at that position. If the coaches want Rios, they will offer him. Plain and simple.

I will pretty much guarentee that once ND is comfortable with the due diligence done in regards to Rios (which takes a decent amount of time, even if expediated due to him being an EE), he will be getting an offer.

I will cry tears of joy if we sign a class of Tee, Darby, Poole, Rios, Baratti, Prosise, and Turner at DB. For all people crtitique the staff for, I don't see how anyone can have issue with recruiting, specifically in terms of positions of the greatest target. We needed DL help desperately last year, and signed the best class in the country and one of the best ever at ND. This year BK made is abundantly clear we needed DBs, and he goes out and has the best class in the country in that position in the fold right now and is looking to add even more. I don't care who you are, that is impressive.

The only way we get either of those guys from jersey is if GS leaves for another coaching job.
