I watched that game . We looked like the weaker less hungry team. I'm proud of these kids this year I really am . Luck is gonna have a field day on this football secondary I was starting to redrink the kool aid but Boston college proved we are good not elite while stanford is a Elite team because of Luck.

We have no one to cover there 3 pro caliber TEs. All of which are 6'6"+. That scares me the most.

There is always a chance. Stanford is a strong, discipline, and smart team. We will have to equally meet those traits. The big difference is QBs...Luck vs Rees.

our power run game is gone, Rees is playing poor football, Riddick is questionable, the backend of our defense can't cover, our LB's can't cover any TE's and Stanford has 3 of them, Luck is 10x the QB Barkley is and Barkley shredded us, should i continue?

We are calm. Merely pointing out that we need to play discipline (no turnovers, no personal fouls, O needs to stay balanced) football.

It will be very interesting to see how GAIII handles taking (i would guess) 1/3 of the carries.

Losing Jonas really really hurts for this one. Ds going to have to come up huge and Tommy and Cierre are going to need to have career days. Honestly, I don't see it happening, but it's not impossible. Would feel a lot better with Jonas though.

True. I guess we can't all be objective, either. If you have been paying attention to college football, it is absurd to say that a given good team cannot beat a very good team. Stanford is very good. They will be favored, as they should be. But ND could win. That isn't a fanboy opinion. I know you think you are exhibiting your non-homerism, but you're dramatically overcompensating.

You guys do know that Stanford will be playing for a chance in the BCS title game and for Luck to win the Heisman. That's a lot of pressure and we saw what happened this weekend with teams that had a lot of pressure on them.

Trick plays don't really work out for us, as evidenced by the Wake Forest game.

I don't see this game being close. SU will own us from beginning to end. Luck and his TEs will own our defence while their defence will have absolutely no problem with TR... everyone has the blueprint on how to contain him. Add to all this the fact that Luck will want to show the world why he deserves the Heisman and I don't see how we can win this one. Hopefully I'm proven wrong and our boys pull off a huge upset... which is possible... just not probable.

we really struggle against a good play action game, bout the only thing michigan state had success with...we will see an extremely heavy dose of it this weekend.
