I didn't say that. I said the helmet didn't go with it well. I had to listen to my brother bitch about it for the whole first quarter.

I think the helmets could be cool if they actually matched the uniform better.

I really liked the helmets, the shamrock needed a different shade of green and the flesh tone shirts need not return.



If anyone watches the Dan Patrick show, he received one of those Adidas chests with all of the Irish helmet swag.

Those uniforms and helmets for the Maryland game were terrible. I hope they never bring those fugly things back out. I hate the greens anyway, but those were extra terrible with the disco ball helmets. Just my 2¢.

The unis weren't terrible, but I like a more conservative throwback look. There was nothing wrong with that we wore against Army. I also wouldn't mind seeing the unis we wore against SC in '07 again.

Idk if you were at the game (and if you were cool), but if not , you may have been singing a different tune. They looked beautiful in person. All the way down to the gold "under armor" that had the leprechaun on the inside of the left sleeve.
