Kelly is honest with team. Every team will give ND best shot, no matter what their record is. Notre Dame is everyone's bowl game.

Made the decision at the half to move faster offensively due to Wake making defensive adjustments at the line. Will be able to do that full time in the future, unable to right now.

Dennis (?) walk on will travel this week, doesn't want younger guys getting thrown in to the mix this late in season.

*Offensive lineman, I don't know who he is talking about but I guess he is from Maryland.

There is a philosophy change when new coach comes in. Kelly isn't necessarily smarter than others, just does things differently. Implementing change takes time, some aren't patient.

ND is on a journey to play like a champion everyday. Not there yet but is making progress.

Dennis Mahoney, walk on for Notre Dame. He is a senior offensive tackle.

I'm actually excited to see Toma on the field this week. Whether it's Tommy's or the coaches fault or not, Theo just hasn't been the threat he was forecasted to be this season. I hope he gets healthy though and the coaches figure out a way to use him more effectively.

Golic looked fine at Wake but needs to stay focused and do it over the long haul now. Good luck to him.

Great to hear Ethan will be back!!

I thnk Jonas is going to have a monster day. Last night I watched some Maryland highlights from the beginning of their season (Miami), where they were playing well, up to now... where they are playing awful.

One consistency was the lack of run defense. With our O-Line and Jonas' size and speed I don't see Maryland putting up a tough, run stuffing effort for all four quarters.

Is it just me or is anyone else more excited to see Jonas than Cierre in the backfield right now? I mean no disrespect to Cierre because he is having a great season as well.. It's just that Jonas seems to have that raw power and speed combination. I think he's faster than Cierre in the open field too. I'm so happy the kid has put together a successful season.

Harrison played his best game of the year against Wake. He got beat up before Kelly arrived at ND. Was told how he couldn't do things. He has been a good player, good leader, good captain since Kelly arrived. Selected for the Senior Bowl.
Congrats to Harrison making the senior bowl.

You can't have too many good running backs, which I said earlier and got blasted for because Wood was doing so good. Between injuries, different defenses, mental funks you need more than 2 good backs.

very unfortunate for Theo, but i think this is Toma's golden opportunity to prove himself and earn a spot, I'm very excited, knowing the connection he has with Tommy, i think Robby will step up

I really hope Toma has a good game. You never hear of him bitching about playing time or anything like that. If he has a good game it might force kelly to put him in the game more.

Can't rep you again so soon, Clashmore, but thanks again for the summary!

Not worried about Toma, he has stepped up in some big games like USC last year, he's a good receiver.

Sad to hear about Cave, but I guess he has eligibility left and is back next year? I thought he burned it his freshman year, but I guess not. Good to hear that he'll be back next year, but Golic did great against Wake Forrest. He opened some very nice holes for Jonas and Cierre.

Theo being out doesn't bug me. Unfortunately the WR transition hasn't really panned out IMO. He's a threat when he does get the ball, but he's either not getting open enough, or he's too far down the progression to be effective. His production is just slightly past TJ's. He probably would have been better served switching back to RB to share carries with Cierre next year, but I have a feeling we're going to need all the experience we can get at WR in 2012 unfortunately. Plus that would take away possible carries from GA.

Loved his uniform response! BK is really making it a point to defend his players and give them credit. Good strategy by him after the Navy week mess.
