I honestly can't visit ND forums for an entire week after a loss. Its too annoying. Its almost as bad when its "just" a close win.

Wake Forest has been a tough team for everyone but everyone expected us to go to their place and obliterate them? What?

I say 10-3 season.... Biggest Disappointment was Michigan winning with 30 SECONDS ON THE CLOCK!!!!!! that alone twisted a dagger in my heart... So far i am very happy with this yrs playing from ND looks like yr 3 will be the big one now....All i want from ND next yr is beat OU,MICHIGAN,MICHIGAN ST.,USC that's all i ask...

Really if we land Gunner we will be looking very good... Tommy i feel is getting better if we miss out on Gunner i agree Tommy should be very good next yr, and Hendrix/Golson we have 5 star QB depth...

Other than the average QB play the biggest disappointment for me would be gary gray. He is having a terrible season but on the positive side jonas gray and robert blanton have done far better than i expected

Gray's had some really bad moments, but all things considered he's had really, really good coverage. If anything in our secondary is disappointing it's been safety play, and more specifically Zeke Motta's love affair with taking terrible angles.

Flatlining against southern cal. I do not know why, I am not that close to the program but from a subway alum who loves the program I just dont understand. THIS must never happen again/lose maybe flatline never. Emotion is such a huge part of college football and that performance was disturbing. Its ok to walk thru a Wake Forest win by using your poise and confidence but against your rival who is as good if not better than you you better play like a crazed animal or get the %$#@ off the field.

Honestly, I think the team is right where I figured they'd be record wise. As far as "Biggest Disappointment" would go, I would say a tie between letting the insanely untalented quarterback play of Denard Robinson beat us again and the USC performance.

my biggest disappointment so far this year has been how the team came out flat against USC, what a buzzkill....it was disheartening. I know there has plenty of discussion on who everyone believes is responsible, but I placed 98percent of the responsibility on the players for the lack of execution against USC.

I thought they were kinda flat against Wake Forest too...I havent gone back and re-watched that game, so that is just my initial assesment.

Riddick haven't delivered.

I have been disappointed at the lack of dynamic slot play all season as well.

Though this also can be attributed to a QB who tends to stare down receivers and go after his first option or second option.

Veer, I have to agree. I was waiting for huge production out of that slot. I really thought Theo and Robby could do a lot of good there this year. I have to agree with you, it is on the WR and Tommy. Tommy really stares down guys that he is suppose to throw too, or flies through in mach speed and misses a ton.

But, good points it is definately a two way street here. I lean more on Tommy because I rewatch every single game and chart his throws myself (on the video I have) And I am really disappointed in him this year, not that he is horrible because he is not. He is very average. But, those 13/14 turnovers are just absolutely sickening. Yes not all are on him, but you have to balance out those that arent on my with those that are flat dropped by defenders for Ints like the 2 at Nave and 2 at Wake.

This is also a coaching thing too, Tommy needs to be told to look for those guys too.

Hope it gets better. But, I really thought Theo would be absolutely huge this year. I think there is a lot of improvement that needs to be done. Hopefully that improvement comes fast, we need to will all the games up to Stanford, and be at top form to beat a stellar Stanford team.
